2023/24 Regional Competitions

Northern Regional Games

Ingle Farm LAC, 5th of November.

Bridgestone Athletics Centre, Frost Rd, Salisbury South.

Nominations close 25th of October, Free Entry.

This competition is open to all IFLAC members, including Tiny Tots, who will participate in skills-based games.

The Northern Regional Games are conducted similarly to a home meet, however, girls and boys compete separately and events are timetabled.

We will be assigned an event to officiate, so parents do not need to assist in all the events their children are competing in, except for one person as a recorder. A roster will be prepared closer to the date.

North East Challenge

Campbelltown LAC, 12th of November.

Bridgestone Athletics Centre, Frost Rd, Salisbury South.

Free Entry, No nominations required.

This meet is conducted similarly to a home meet, with a set program for each age group; however, to allow for a competition of this size to run smoothly, girls and boys compete separately. This competition is open to all registered IFLAC members of any age group, including Tiny Tots.

Unlike in the Northern Region events, parents do need to assist in events their children are competing in, along with the parents of the other three Centres involved.

Trinity College Back Oval, Alexander Avenue, Evanston South.

No nominations, Free Entry.

We're visiting Gawler!

This is our smallest inter-club, and will function exactly as a home meet with a second club present.

We will be hosting the return fixture next season.

Gawler Interclub Programme (TBA)

Northern Improvers

Northern Districts AC, Sunday 18th of February.

Bridgestone Athletics Centre, Frost Road, Salisbury South.

Entry Fee: $12 (TT-U8), $15 (U9-U17)

Nominations and fees due: TBA January.

This event is designed as a 'Championship' for more casual athletes. A Tiny Tots session will be held. Athletes from U6-U8 may chose any four events (excluding vortex) to compete in. If they complete all four, they will receive a participation medal.

Older athletes have eligibility rules - please see the nomination form for more information. Provided they are eligible, they may enter any four events of their choice. If they place in the top three, they will receive a medal. Heats and finals will be run where relevant.

As with other regional meets, parents do not need to assist in events their children are competing in, as each centre will be assigned certain events to officiate.
