North-East Challenge
The North East Challenge is an annual interclub event we have with Campbelltown, Enfield, and Magill Little Athletics Centres. The highest ranking athlete in each event, from each club, earns points based their position against the highest ranking athletes.

Based on these points, two trophies are awarded, a summary of which is below. More details are available in the following tables.
We don't know the results for 2002/03, 2009/10, and 2017-18.

North-East Challenge Shield
The highest ranked club under the NEC Points System is awarded the North East Challenge Shield.

North-East Challenge Handicap Shield
Created for the 30th North East Challenge in 2020-21, on the initiative of Enfield Little Athletics Centre, the North East Challenge Handicap Shield was intended to give the smaller clubs a better chance at winning a shield.
The points system is the same as the NEC Shield, but with the non-winning clubs from previous seasons starting with handicap points. These points equal the number of points behind first place that each club had finished in the previous season.
