Providing for fun, family and fitness in Little Athletes since 1973.

We are a family oriented club that enables athletes aged 3 to 19 to participate in athletics - we welcome all Little Athletes, regardless of ability or experience. Our main summer season runs from September to March, with Cross Country in the winter.

Little Aths is all about being your best, that is, the emphasis is on beating your own personal best score. This provides for a friendly, pressure free competition that allows children to improve their fitness, coordination, and skills in running, jumping and throwing; which can be used as a basis for most other sports.

Sally Pearson introduces Little Athletics

Little Athletics is an excellent source of off-season fitness for participants of winter sports; in fact it was for that purpose that, in August 1973, several coaches of the newly formed Ingle Farm Soccer Club convened a meeting that lead to the foundation of our Centre. Several IFLAC athletes have had success in a variety of sports, including:

 - Ronald Garlett, who contested High Jump at the IAAF World Junior Championships in '96 & '98, and won Gold at both Junior and Senior National Championships.

 - Past Australian U21 Netballer, Sharlee McCulloch.

 - Two current Adelaide Crows players, Wayne Milera (AFL) and Anne Hatchard (AFLW).

 - Various State and National Records in Little Aths have been, or still are, held by IFLAC athletes.

 - Various State Records in senior athletes have been set be athletes who did Little Athletics with Ingle Farm.

 - Our athletes have been selected for the South Australian Little Athletics State Team on 27 occasions, four of them having captained it.

Parents will need to remain during all home meets, as athletics is a parent run sport. Each age group will have a chaperone lead them at all home meets, generally someone who has been at the club for a number of years. They will explain the rules for each event to new athletes, and help them with basic technique. New parents will be given simple tasks such as recording results, or raking the Long Jump pits, which will allow the more experienced parents to officiate the event, and give the new parents an opportunity to see how things work.
